Here are some pictures I took recently in Casey & Russell Counties. The autumn colors are just about perfect this week

My goodness! You can almost smell the scent of earth and leaves in some of those photos.

Hello, baby turtle. Mercy, that's a big 'un! Thanks for sharing.

Can I add some photos I took on our trips to KY last week? First we visited Pine Mountain State Park in Bell County. Then, we traveled to Mammoth Cave National Park. The colors in Eastern Ky were amazing for this time of year!

Enjoy!

Lived here all my life and never stopped being amazed by the beauty in the fall and the spring (when the weather has been right!). Nothing like driving up home (Henry co.) and seeing the hills.

I think sometime we forget to stop and appreciate what we have. Too caught up in the day to days to realize what's around us. Fall is definetly my favorite time of year here - I just have to stop myself from dreading what's ahead - months of gray skies and cold weather. HOPEFULLY - we will have an early spring in March and all will be right with the world!

Thanks for the pictures and reminding us how beautiful are state is.

Oh - have you guys been to Bernheim lately? The baby and I have gone at least twice a week since early September and t is grand this time of year.

Bernheim Arboretum & Research Forest Alot to do - may want to visit soon!
