If you are still looking, check out Washington County Indiana. There are several small towns in this rural county. You will only be minutes from all needed services.

Default Burkesville

I just began the process of buying land in Burkesville and having buyers remorse. Does anyone live there who can tell me about the culture and crime in the area?

I had never heard of Burkesville before, so I had to google it, and it's up by Dale Hollow.
I have driven through before....really pretty area. I can't imagine there be a lot of crime there, but that being said the Drug Epidemic has hit parts of Kentucky really bad.

City Data here says it's higher in crime than other nearby cities, but that contradicts other sites that I googled Data.
Here is the Link.

Between 2004 and 2016 there were no murders and only one rape reported. But they might have a problem with
theft and burglary, at least comparatively.
