Definitely Bowling Green, there is no comparison IMO between those to what Bowling Green has to offer. The other cities are all very nice so I am not diminishing them in any way, but Bowling Green has so much more probably just because it is a bigger city and a much larger university. Bowling Green has so much more in the way of dining and shopping, entertainment, really just about everything.

I think Richmond is close to having as much as Bowling Green. Both have the same national chain restaurants, both have one small mall. BG does have a Sam's Club, Richmond is getting a Meijer's next year. Obviously Richmond is much closer to Hamburg Pavilion in Lexington (20 miles) than BG is to Rivergate Mall in Nashville (48 miles).
I only know a little about Richmond, but a kid from our area ( central Minnesota ) goes to college there and was interviewed by the local paper back home.
He said he likes the school, the city, and the area.

He is a starter on EKU's basketball team.
^ That would be Justin Stommes who is EKU's leading scoring this season

I still think Bowling Green has much more to offer and there is just no comparison between EKU and WKU university wise except for certain areas of study.

^ I'm not sure if that's accurate. On the Wikipedia list of all public schools the only significant difference btw them is WKU's higher endowment ($105 m to $55 m) and freshman retention (72% to 65%). EKU has slightly higher average incoming ACT scores than WKU (21.1 to 20.8).

According to US News and World Reports KY's regional schools are ranked as follows (all in the Southern Master's universities)
20. Murray State (score: 61)
31. WKU (score: 53)
49. Morehead State (score: 44)
56. EKU (score: 40)
??. NKU Tier 3
??. Kentucky State Tier 4
Statistics don't tell the whole story about actual experience of attending them both does.
