Kingsport public works dept., excellent service (how much, deed, move to)

This is a copy of a letter I just sent the Kingsport public works department:

I recently received a letter from the city telling me that my water use had increased drastically over the past month. Not only was this letter sent, but a reader was sent out to recheck my meter.

Although, in this case, the reading is probably correct (I had new sod laid and have been watering it heavily), I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate this service. Had a genuine problem with my water system existed, your letter would have warned me long before the next bill arrived, and possibly saved me a lot of money. Customer service like this makes us appreciate our move to Tennessee all the more.

Thanks for sharing this. It is rare that people share the good, but have no problem telling everyone a bad experience. It is so nice to hear a good deed told.
