Three gray wolves - set free at Bays Mountain Park during Wednesday night’s storm - are still on the loose with around 20 park officials and volunteers continuing the search at daybreak on Friday.

Park officials discovered a breach in the wolf enclosure Thursday morning upon arriving at work, caused by a felled tree the night before. Six of the eight gray Timber wolves had escaped their enclosure and made their way into the park. Two of the wolves had remained in the enclosure.

Any word about the wolves? That's a nice size park so they have some looking to do.

Default Lost Wolfs

I worked at a zoo in Florida when one of our female lions got out. She didn't go far. She was hiding behind her enclosure because she was scared to go any farther. Her name is Nala and was hand raised from a cub, so she was happy when we found her.

I hope they find the wolfs for the wolf's safety, and of course, the people's safety as well.

Does anyone know if they found the last ones that were missing? Has Bays Mtn Park reopened?

I know one came back to where they are typically fed...guess he was hungry hahahaha. That was on Thursday, haven't heard anything about the others or if the park is re-opened though.
