the sidney james is clean and cheap. the pools are nice and its close to downtown gatlinburg.

Wmsn4Life, we took your advice and stayed at Carr's to celebrate our anniversary.....
. Like you stated....older, but very clean with a fireplace ( didn't need it.....created our own warmth....
), back porch with the stream was very peaceful. A few blocks from the strip which was great, they were blacktopping the main drag and was a bit smelly to say the least.
I see a few of the
Cougars here like to just relax and " Guy " watch....
I have used Trip Advisor in the past with so-so results....everyone has different opinions....
