I am coming up with the family this weekend from Orlando to check out the area. Job is opening a warehouse late summer early fall in the Farragut-Turkey Creek area. Will likely want to live anywhere from Oak Ridge to Maryville. Looking for suggestions for a Motel/Hotel to stay for a couple of nights this weekend. I seen that most of the hotels in Maryville are at the airport, and I am not finding much near the Turkey Creek area? Would prefer 70 or less a night. Thanks.

There are a ton of places near the Cedar Bluff exit between Cedar Bluff and Turkey Creek.

Our wedding guests stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on South Peters Rd. There are a few hotels on this road and it turns into Parkside Drive, which is Turkey Creek. Check Courtyard Marriott and the Jameson, also.

The Best Western has one or two (or a few??) rooms without carpet (laminate or wood if I remember right). It was very cool, especially if you have allergies and don't like carpet.

I would not recommend the Motel 6 at Lovell Rd (yuck). I've stayed at the Microtel on N Peters (Cedar Bluff exit off I 40) and it was OK and in your price range (the wife and dog were not with me). When the wife and dog were with me we stayed at the Residence Inn (Marriott) off N Peters, out of your price range but if you are getting 2 rooms to fit the family their suites may work for you $$ wise.

I a appreciate all your input, several places I saw on Hotels.com, Best Western- Cedar Bluff Inn, Comfort Inn, and Jameson Inn all seem to run from 50 -70 a night. And Yes Hiknapster I am a Costco Employee. Nothing has been officially announced but looking at late summer/early fall opening. I am hoping it opens by mid Sept. I believe they have started clearing the area and bringing to grade but I will know more when I get up there.

Woohoo! Boy, are we glad to see you! Any help you need, just let us know! Any of the hotels at the Turkey Creek shopping complex are fairly new and nice.

So, what do I win? I know, I know, just getting a Costco is enough of a prize.
