So far, we've received 0.75 inches, this morning.

It's been raining at least once a week, for the past couple of months, which is great. We still have an "extreme" drought, but this rain ain't hurtin' either.

Good luck, jimj. We're still pulling for ya.

Last month, November, the rainfall total was 3.98 inches which is the exact normal average for the month. December, with the current rainfall, is likely also to have an average rainfall amount. That is two consecutive months of average rainfall and that is the first time in over a year, if I am not mistaken, that two consecutive months have had average rainfall. Maybe that is a harbinger that the drought might be easing a bit. July also had normal rainfall of 4.71 inches but that seems to be an aberration during this drought. As for being tired of cold, January and February are the coldest months here, on average, although the weather in those months can vary widely, sometimes being very warm, as in January of 2006 when 14 days were 60 degrees or warmer. But that is not the norm. Personally, I would like a little of the over-hyped Al Gore "global-warming" in January and February.

WE had 1.19 for yesterday, which should put us at about normal rainfall for the month, and we had the normal amount for November, too!

No way, Alison! That is incredible news!

See that karma comes back at you!

jimj, don't worry. I spent a good portion of the day looking for houses for another C-D member, and dude, there are some great houses at great prices around here. Right in the area you were looking in.

Cut your losses and come on down!
