Hello,

I was considering taking my 2 kids to the indoor water park at Westgate in Gatlinburg next week. On the website they say it's open to the public.

On Trip Advisor someone said it IS open to the public, but you must sit through a time share presentation first.

So..I called them today and they said no, you don't have to sit through anything.

What's the real deal ? Any of you been there ?

I believe this is the place my sister-in-law took the niece and nephew today for the weekend. As soon as they get back on Sunday I will ask and let you know.

I would go to the wilderness waterpark in sevierville before going to this one. The only thing is you would have to stay at the hotel to use the facilities. From what i have heard it is much bigger than the one in gatlinburg but if you are just planning a day trip this wouldnt be an option for you then.

Smoky Mountain Resort minutes from Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg Tennessee | Wilderness at the Smokies (sevierville)

I also called this one in Gatlinburg about a year ago and they also told me that you dindt have to sit through a timeshare presentation and it was $25-$30 a day i believe. Hope this helps

Default Thanks y'all !

I am looking forward to taking the kids.

Dollywood is just too expensive for us this year, but I think we can hack the 18 something per person to get in. My littlest one is almost 3, so I hope he is free.

The water park that you are asking about is located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on the left towards Gat. It is about $18.00 per person and is indoor. It is open to the public, no strings attached.

The other water park in reference is in Sevierville on the right with a big red slide outside near some new construction. THIS IS A PRIVATE FACILITY.

You can get passes from the visitors center for $35.00 if you really press them, but you have to really really, really press them. They will try to get you to take the free tour for their timeshare......

The hotel stay does include a free trip to the park for all guest.
