As we were talking to one another and facing towards the mountain range...very slowly a large triangular object rose from behind the mountains, it had orange lights all around it and it moved slowly out from behind the mountains. Once it cleared the mountain tops it hovered, briefly...and then it disappeared right in front of our eyes!

We were left with jaws dropping and scratching our heads in disbelief. We chalked it up to those things they do at Area 51 or Nellis...but you never know

For me, it was moving about 100 feet from the ground making no noise and creating a mild wind storm. I could have hit it with a rock if I was not so scared sh@tless from it. It was heading south towards Sandy Valley.

No, he's no longer in Nevada. Yes, he's supposedly now in the Philippines. He does however do an occasional show now and then on Coast to Coast AM, his old stomping grounds.

He sold Pahrump's KNYE in 2008.

I knew a guy a long time ago who was a fairly credible person that claimed that he saw a UFO come down in the Spring Mountains, and he actually talked to the aliens. I don't think I believe him though.

Who knows what kind of flying machines they have worked on at Area 51. I would imagine they've tried a lot of things that didn't work out and had to be scrapped. Look at the simplicity of what they are doing now with the UAVs at Indian Springs. predator uav - Google Search

I get the impression they hardly ever use jets with pilots in them anymore.

Do I think they are around area 51? Yep....but they ain't from outerspace they are ManMade and Unidentified and they are flying objects. i.e. the Aurora Project [a lifting body capable of taking off from a conventional runway and flying into outer space.]
