Looks like the grand opening for Hotel California Cantina is today. "Join us for a Three-Day Grand Opening Celebration May 5-7 from 5-10 p.m. Bring your family and friends and enjoy live music, great food and drinks and much more!"

In "Kitchen Confidential", Anthony Bourdain strongly cautions against opening a restaurant at the site of a failed restaurant.

I don't know if it's superstition, or bad location, but I've seen this happen many times.
