Anybody get any today? I was on the strip today and it looked like it was coming in from the west but thank God it never showed up. It looked like Henderson may have gotten dumped on. No rain in Summerlin or in my neck of the woods in Centennial Hills either.

Absolutely poured here in Henderson at about 3:30 p.m. Lots of wind, thunder and lightening. Pretty cool!

No rain here.
It just got all dark and stormy looking, and as usual the wind blew it away. It's been a very disappointing monsoon season since we only got one good short rain all season. Hope next year it rains for 40 days and 40 nights.

The monsoon weather comes in from the south and usually drops around Lake Mead. Henderson is nearest to Lake Mead so they get more rain. I think we've had 126 days without any measurable rain (e.g none fell at airport). I left on vacation on Aug 7 and the weather forecast was for 99º, but if it made it to 100 then we are on the way to a record number of days in a row of over 100º. Anybody know if that trend has been broken, and it not how many days over 100º have there been?

Live in the SW area and we got no rain yesterday. It was very cloudy and dark with more than usual humidity, but no precipitation (no, I'm not a weatherman, I just play one in forums).
