You won't find this..the West Virginia pepperoni roll:

Bob Heffner's Pepperoni Roll Page - Fairmont, West Virginia

Or this...the West Virginia hot dog.

Ritzy Lunch - Clarksburg, WV

Unless you come to my house.

You also won't find a milkshake done right either...except that Fat Burger comes close. A really good milkshake isn't so thick you can't suck it through the straw. A good milkshake is relatively thin and doesn't clog the straw. When ice cream is slightly soft more flavor comes through and it tastes better. Thin milkshakes is the same principal. Try it, you'll like it. Oh yes, they have to be made with real ice cream and real milk and plenty of flavored syrup...I'll take chocolate.

Paczi

Yes, yes! I am a Detroit native as well and they were always tradition in our house. Love 'em!

Of course. My typing periodically gets dyslexic. Note that I even noted no egg.

I seriously miss Bob Evans as well as Bill Knapp's. When I visit MI next week I plan to eat my fill at our local Bob Evans. Albertson's has online ordering of groceries and you can either have them delivered for $20 or pick up for $10. Oh yeah, Cracker Barrel is another spot I will be eating at, oh my, I will probably gain 50#'s while I am back there!!

Just a few of the things you can't get in LV: a good education at any level; responsible, civic-minded citizens that don't act like mean-spirited, drunken tourists; good medical care; anything innovative or cutting-edge; drinkable municipal water.

You, of course, are entitled to your opinion. I do believe the thread was started with the spirit of recalling the things we left behind in our home states with a bit of nostalgia. If the things you mentioned are things you miss then fine, however from the tone of your post you are just being a pain in the a** so please go away and bother someone else's forum. I am sorry that Las Vegas did you wrong

I don't understand why we don't have a Cracker Barrel. How could they not put at least one the fastest growing city, and one that gets 40 million tourists a year? They have one in Kingman, AZ, for Pete's sake. We should have at least four by now.
