Thanks for the answers. I am avoiding medicaid so they don't take her house. She gets $1100 a month SS and pension and I toss in about $1100 and that pays her assisted living. I also pay her monthly bills every month. I need to sell her house to pay her bills and prepay her funeral expenses to back east. I mentioned going broke because I've been laid off for 1 year and I've had to cash out my 401k to support her. I do appreciate all your answers. I'm trying to stick it out a couple more weeks but from most of the answers I've received, it sounds like I can get her out of that contract. Thanks again
