From the LVA:

"Downtown's newly renovated Plaza hotel-casino will be hiring 800 workers ahead of its Sept. 1 reopening. Job fairs will be held from Monday, June 27, to Friday, July 1, and again from Tuesday, July 5, through Friday, July 8, on the third floor of the Las Vegas Club's north tower, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Positions are available in gaming, food and beverage, marketing, and throughout the casino, with new hirings representing around twice the number of workers laid off when the property shut down for the remodel. Candidates may also apply online at www.plazahotelcasino.com"

Good Luck,
Croce

Thanks!

Just looked at the website and most of the jobs there are for gaming positions.

Hope they gettheir room rates correctly in line with market value, fix up the pool giving another alternative to Golden Nugget, and in general do not run the place like I think they are going to do.

Theres hope, but they need realistic expectations as well as to weed out the 1% bottom feeders that used to hang out there.

their room rates are currently set about $10 below the GN....whis is where they SHOULD be IF and only IF they have changed the dust in the casino and run it like a real hotel and not a flop.
