Hello all! I am going to be possibly taking a math class this fall at CSN. The only one available though is at CSN - Nellis AFB, which I read is a military base? I spoke to someone there, and he stated that they take 10 civilian students. Have any of you ever taken a class there?
I will be living in the 89118 area, do you guys recommend public transportation? I'll have a car, but I like to keep my options open

Never taken a class there. If it is on the AFB you will obviously need a civilian pass. Signing in every day would be a pain.
Before school starts there is always a deadline when students have to pay for up coming classes. Once that deadline passes the classes are purged of all the students who have not paid. After this more classes will open. You should hold the class you have and wait till after purge day to look for more classes.

I used to go to CSN classes on Nellis AFB. The classes are first come first serve for active duty military, military spouses and family, government employes and if there is any room left (there never is) then maybe you can get some type of consideration. Those classes are jamed packed.
