And another thing I love about Las Vegas is that compared to Cali, I can
go shopping any time I want or eat out or do a lot of things.. Depending on where you live in Cali they seem to roll up the carpet at 9pm.....

Yeh I forget about this too when I go to visit my parents in seemingly vibrant DFW. Everything except Taco Cabana and Denny's is shuttered at 10pm. Dont even think about getting alcohol. To be fair, the restaurants around the neighborhoods here close early too, but everyone lives close enough to a casino to where you can go in and grab something to eat and drink if you wanted.

Sounded like you're saying price per square foot is higher here, though I knew that's not what you meant because you also said housing is more in Cali.
