That wouldnt surprise me. I love flying into Mccarran. Its one of the easiest airports to get through and its full of things to do when you have a delay. The people in the bars are always fun to strike up a conversation with and talk to because they are all from someplace else. When you land and walk into the airport you KNOW you are in Vegas.

Well, I was there today and I have to say they really have their poop in a group. The car rental pickup and return is so well orchastrated. Lots of seating at the gates, lots of restrooms, and the whole place has a really easy flow. I flew to Dallas then home today and that airport did not impress me. (I also flew American and they didn't impress me either!)

For the record, it's "McCarran".

And as I suspected, 3 of the top five worst were the New York City airports.

I did think McCarran would be a little higher on the list of best, but 7th best is OK.

I love McCarran. Free Wifi. Clean. Slots to kill time (and money). Lots of eateries. Even the baggage claim area is full of excitement. That's how you build enthusiasm among your visitors.

LAX and JFK have to be the WORST airports ever... and it's a shame because that's the first impression the rest of the world sees when they vacation in the USA.

Sorry about the fat finger on the spelling of the name. I am impressed how people work together at the pick ups in front of the terminals. They seem to go with the flow no horn blasting swearing or road rage. Unlike many other airport in the USA they have to have a cop every 100 ft to control everyone from killing each other. This is just another plus about LV

We have always liked the airport. Our only complaint (years ago) was the long walk from the check in area to the actually gates, but that is much better today. I remember flying into Vegas when we lived in Ca and it was one of those litle airports where you got off the plane and walked across the run way into a terminal that was the size of most living romms(well that is a little exageration, but you get the picture) look how it has changed.
