Hi all,

Any recommendations on furnished places to live?

Any advice for a mid-20s guy in Vegas? I like to go out (outdoors and to bars ) and I doubt I'll be too interested in the bright lights/tourist attractions after the first week or two. Any places where I can make friends? Anyone here want to be my friend?

Thanks!

No, I don't want to be your friend : ) but you should be able to make some at work. Green Valley is awesome, really nice place to live.

Work friends are certainly an option, but I'm hoping there will be other places to meet people. I'd hate to put all my friendship eggs in the work basket.

One thing to keep in mind (and this is far from a Vegas only thing) is that you're likely going to have to drive to anyplace you want to drink. And if you drink in your apartment, unless you drink alone, someone is likely to have to drive there.

This is one of the major negatives of auto-centric cities.

I assume taxis are easier to find than friends

Try meetup.com. Best way to find friends that share your interests. Plenty of Las Vegas groups of every kind.
