I just saw on the news that stripper that killed a man 2 days ago was released on bond.
So she gets to go home until her next court date??
That's just not right.
She should be in a cell.
I hope she goes into hiding and they have to find her.
At least that way she'll get more than the 8-10 years she's gonna get.

Of course she's going back to work--if they'll let her.
Clearly she has no morals cause she got whacked and tried to drive.
Instead of buying Xanax she's gonna need the scratch to pay for her lawyer.
Unless of course he's accepting some other form of payment.

Ok, very misleading thread title.

Here are the facts:

1. She passed the breathalyzer meaning she was not intoxicated alcohol wise, and she took a Zanax 11 hours before driving so it is debatable whether or not she was impaired. She failed the fst tests, but people fail those all the time for merely being tired.

2. Your link clearly says that the police have not determined who was at fault in the accident. The driver of the other car might have been at fault. This is why I pointed out that your thread title does not match up with the facts.

Aren't we innocent until proven guilty? Regardless, if she is proven to be at fault for the accident AND impaired she will do at least 3-5 years of hard time.

that's probably why she was released... pending investigation.

Exactly! I got 2 dui's in my life, and my first one resulted in an accident. But wait, I was the one who was rear ended by another driver while I was sitting at a red light! The police officer on a motorcycle across the street saw it all, but I still got a dui (although I was not cited for the accident). The impaired driver is not at fault for an accident for merely being impaired. I have been reading that the driver of the escort may have either pulled out right in front of the Hummer, or ran a red light. Believe me, I drive an escort myself and no longer drink in drive. I want her to be convicted and locked away for a long time if she caused this accident, but I am not willing to say that until all the facts are in.
