Hey guys,

I only have until Tuesday(flying back to NY) to find a place that I want to move in starting ~Dec 1. I know this has been covered numerous times on here and I have read through almost all of the past threads. I found the coronodo bayclub apartments from a previous thread and they are the sort of place I'm looking for but seems a little pricey($950for1 bdrm) compared to some of the places I've seen in the paper.

Things I am looking for:
Gated
Pool
Gym
Safety
Quality
Best bang for the buck obviously

2Bdrm/2ba if possible but not high on the priority list

Budget is $1000/month

I would appreciate any suggestions of places to check out while I'm here. I am currently staying south of the strip by pebble road and the blvd and it seems to be a nice area. I've been searching like a madman looking at Summerlin and Henderson and now I'm basically right back where I started

Any thoughts will be helpful.

Thanks

Best bang for your buck can be found in some BRAND NEW apartment complexes in the new areas of North Las Vegas.
If you head north on Losee from Craig, there is one complex just north of Lone Mountain on your left that just opened. If you go further up, past Ann Rd and look a block or two to your right, you will find some 3-4 brand new, never lived in apartment complexes AND condos. The condos are very affordable and are located east of Losee on Centennial Pkwy
This is an extremely fast growing area, which you won't recognize in five years. It does not have the prestige of Summerlin, but might be appropriate for your move ....Goood luck

PS, also a big NEW complex can be found on N Decatur and 215 Beltway, behind the Super Walmart, a great area next to Aliante

Those apts are brand new and the name is "Presidio."

I appreciate the help guys!

Olecapt, I checked out a few of the ones you sent me and none have thrilled me yet but I appreciate you sending me the list.

VegasVic, thanks for finding a few of the names for me. It really seems like all the nice places are going to run $950ish/month which is a little surprising b/c I thought I might be able to find a nice 2 bdr for around $1K. Anyway, I'm still looking and gonna head up to NLV tomorrow and try to see a few more places. A ton of places on craigslist too. My head is spinning from all the choices

I did pass one place today, "parkside villas" south of the strip which could be a canidate. Gonna try to check this one out as well.

Los Cabos Villas across from the Cannery seem nice with some units having garages.
