Ouch! NLV! Lets see if they declare bankruptcy in the coming weeks. If so, look for the state to take over and watch your property taxes rise. I personally avoid NLV at all costs.

Taxes are rising at the capped rates for the rest of our lives for everyone in the valley. If the state were to raise them faster it would only be a temporary hike lasting less than 5 years. They can only do temporary hikes, not permanent.
Anyways, welcome to Vegas and also welcome to NLV - where we don't associate kindly with those Summerlin folk who think all of NLV is still the ghetto.
