I'm sure that this has been discussed but I could not find anything new since about 2009. Does anybody have any suggestions for short-term (3 months) apartments (possibly furnished) that are convenient but no necessarily next to Sunrise Medical Centre? I will be in Vegas in about a week and would like some options to check out prior to starting work Nov. 3.

Sunrise is in the highest crime zipcode in the valley. There are no nice rentals there.

Rough area. I can't think of anything close by that is nice. I'd say commute from Green Valley which is about 15-20 minute drive.

Sunrise is a rough place to work. High Acuity High Volume. Terrible computer charting system. Generally nice staff though. Good luck. And I agree with everyone else. No decent places close to that hospital. Summerlin or Green Valley/Henderson are within a decent commute.

There are five rentals under $1000 in the Las Vegas Country Club. They would be quite safe. Don't think any are furnished. One is the little studio unit in the Bel Aire high rise. The others are in the Oakmont Condo Complex.
