Is growth bad or good for NV? I guess that is the question. Seems like about 70K move into the State every year and most of that seems to be here in LV.

Nevada is still top in the nation at 2.9% population growth but the housing slump in Nevada, Arizona, and particularly Florida have slowed things down a bit, the first time in many years that Nevada's growth rate has been below 3%. Note from the map below that only California among the western continuous states had a growth rate under 1%.

Arizona saw its population increase 2.8% in the most recent period, compared with a 3.6% rise in the previous year. Florida, which has suffered heavily in the housing bust, saw the sharpest falloff in population growth. Florida grew 1.07%, slightly faster than the U.S. growth rate of 0.96%.

You will see a slowdown but people from other states like CA where people rent and do not want or have the ability to buy is still going to move to reduce costs or for more oportunities like jobs and such..
