None of this is at all relevant to the shooting case. All the cops need to show is that this guy drove to the victim's house and started shooting. If they can do that, they have a solid probable cause for murder charge. What happened before isn't going to change that.
The before hand stuff could lead to charges against someone in the victim's family, especially if drugs were involved. But this would more likely be in the vein of kicking off a separate drug dealing investigation.
