Hello all!

While we are still tecnically LV residents, we are living offshore for now. But we are coming (November, 2015) to exhibit at the LV Convention Center again.

I would like to find a map or other information about using the Monorail, rather than take a cab or drive....both nightmares! The deals at hotels for exhibitors are basically already sold out, so their dedicated bus transport kind of off the table this year.

I would also like to be able to just eat in a hotel or very nearby restaurants. Two years ago when we were at this convention, we stayed at a Hilton Residence north strip. Decent rooms, but no close places to eat (other than their glorified snack bar) and it was too sketchy walking at night.

AND I'd like to keep costs under control as much as we can.

Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks!

Yeah, just stay at one of the hotels at Monorail station. Or, stay at Westgate, and simply walk over.

Just basically try all the Marriott properties on Paradise, there are plenty and further South on Paradise, more Marriott properties at the Hughes Center. In front of the Hard Rock Hotel, Hyatt, Rumours Boutique Hotel, Alexis Park...! The area around the Hard Rock does not have a monorail stop nor does the Hughes Center but close enough to the Convention Center.

As far as walking at night, the area is too busy with traffic so if you are afraid of walking don't be, you are not walking in a desolated area and I'm sure there will be others walking as well.
