A. You should ask a mod to move this to the Las Vegas Forum, as Summerlin is a neighborhood in Las Vegas.
B. Read this thread first, then ask specific questions, as there is no way to answer your post. https://www.city-data.com/forum/las-v...ley-start.html

Summerlin has a limited number of over 55 housing developments. The big one is Sun City Summerlin. The next obvious one is Siena. Both start around $150K and go up to a million.

For new homes there is an expensive new development just getting underway. $250K and up.

There is also La Ventana which is assisted living but you own your own place..

What would you like to know?

I had been looking for a new home in the Summerlin area for the past 3 years. I finally purchased a 1 new story home in the Paseos section of Summerlin, this past January. It's a very short drive down to Downtown Summerlin and my other shopping needs.

For myself, this is the perfect retirement location in Las Vegas. Fantastic views of the strip can be had depending on your lot choice. I have stellar neighbors. The current majority of the new homeowners are retired baby boomers.

I am 56 and look forward to many excellent years in this area, when i am in town.

I trust that you and your husband find a home of your liking.

I'm guessing that the OP lost track of this thread when it got moved.

Or they really aren't that interested.

1 post wonder.
