And you can sell your group on the idea by saying, "Here's an American who won the Pizza World Cup in Naples, and holds multiple world records for pizza." It's in the right part of town, too.

And if they love Texas Station Buffet, all you have to do is take them to a slightly nicer buffet and everyone is happy. Carnival at Rio. I've eaten there recently. There are decent choices to be found among the usual Las Vegas buffet crapola.
What a great addition to Vegas, have eaten there a few times. I do my own pizzas at the house in my ceramic smoker/grill (Komodo Kamado) with excellent results. Need to see if if there's a Little Tony's cook book out there and get his dough recipe. Just checked w/wife (it's her b-day dinner) and she axed Little Tony's, told her we're going for MY b-day then!

Is that related to the Carmine's in NYC? Best family style meal ever. If it is, and if it's as good, YUM.

If you're going this weekend, I just got an email for $15 off a dinner at texas de brazil for fri or sat. The fine print says good for up to 12. Let me know, and I'll forward it to you.

Costco has Texas de Brazil’s gift card $78.99 for $100. Combine with the $15 off dinner would be a great deal.

If they are of the mindset that Texas Station and Fiesta are places they like (I happen to live with someone like that), a restaurant that I really enjoy is Golden Dragon. It has no atmosphere but everyone loves the concept. Order anything you want off the Cantonese menu and as long as you eat it all, it's $11.50. Quite a few of their items are great, especially the Honey Fried Shimp. The menu is also quite extensive.

Go to Main Street Casino Buffet. Why not order a bunch of barbecue and stay home?

Even with the gift card (available at Costco or Sam's) for TDB my wife and I can't seem to get out of there for anything less than about $150 with tip, tax and a reasonable bottle of wine ($35 or so). That is $75 each which is slightly out of the stated budget of the OP.

There are certainly less expensive Brazilian places, but none that are nearly as good as TDB. If you are willing to sacrifice awesomeness for cost, you can spend $40 for $100 in value at https://www.restaurant.com and dine at Bertolucci Brazilian Steakhouse 2895 N Green Valley Parkway. I also see deals on the same site for that horrible Brazilian joint in Planet Hollywood.

Both will get you the "experience" of a Brazilian steakhouse but neither can possibly compare to Texas de Brazil.

Looks like we're doing Teppan. Restaurant owner said he'd put together a special menu for us with 4 options (and combinations of the 4) including salad, soup, rice, entree, soadas/tea and sake or beer for 5 people in my target price. Personally I'm not a huge fan of Teppan so I'll order sushi, seems to work for everyone. Thanks for the feedback, I greatly appreciate it.

Will have to keep that in mind for when we take our boys out to dinner, these guys are meat eaters and eat a lot!

Unfortunately I'm kind of a bbq snob, the ceramic smoker I mentioned also churns out some killer bbq. I'd have a tough time doing buffet bbq. I have a tough time doing bbq period in Vegas. I read an article titled "Vegas is Where BBQ Goes to Die" recently and I've got to say I generally agree.

I'll help you spend your money.. If you go to TDB website, they have a customer club you can sign up for, and they send out coupons on a regular basis.

Another great way to get a discount there is to take someone who is active/retired military out to dinner, and have them show their ID..saves about 20%/plate for the party of 8 or 10 if I remember. You not only get to eat, but your buying a vet dinner! That is a win-win situation in my book...
