As I'm looking at houses out there, my husband absolutely refuses to consider or look at one on a stupidly named street. One of the most recent ones I came across was Broken Putter in Painted Desert.

Adding this to your colon cleansing jokes, my husband has to have yearly colonoscope tests. After the test, the patients are wheeled into a recovery area where they are still half out of it and encouraged to pass the gas left in their bowel. At any given time, I have found at least ten other patients in this recovery area when I am escorted back in to join him and get him ready to leave. The odor is unbearable. The doctors and nurses must become immune to it and they look at me as if I have two heads as I sit there with my sweater pulled up over my nose and my eyes practically tearing. LOL.

I live on Welsey Manor Drive. Everyone looks at it and says Wesley Manor Drive. I won't buy another house with a street name people can't pronounce.

I get a chuckle out of the names of the streets up in North Las Vegas, Del Webb Sun City - the 55+ community.

Fruited Dove Way
Broadwing Drive
Homing Pigeon Street
Pine Warbler Way
Night Parrot Way
Lap Wing Drive
(My personal fav)
Hornbill Court

Soooooooo why birds??. Seems to me like they should just name em like they should be in a 55+ community.

Depends Drive
Lipitor Lane
Prozac Place
Ensure Street

Afterall, the place does sit at the bottom of Gass Mountain.
