I found it a little smoky when we stopped in last year for the Hot Air Balloon Festival. Even during the day I thought air quality was as bad as some of those on Fremont on a weekend in the evening. Choke and gag....

Kind of off topic, but I was driving to Kanab after a UFC event last year and got tired so I stopped in Mesquite at a rest stop/visitor center to catch a nap. I needed to use the rest room so I walked over to the visitor center only to find a homeless person sleeping back there.
