Never tried the pizza there but heard its great too.

I don't like Canes at all.

Someone needs to come up with an App that searches the menus of local restaurants, so if you want to eat something specific like Vietnamese Shaking Beef or chicken and dumplings you know your choices of places to go to in town instead of doing all the research yourself.
Nice find!!! The food at both of those places looks delicious!! Well worth trying.
Thanks

The Yard House at Red Rock Casino has southern fried chicken breast with mashed potatoes. Also Farm 24/7 at Aliante Casino has it - think it was not just a breast as current menu says to expect 25 minutes to cook it. I love fried chicken and try to have at least one fried chicken meal every time I go to Vegas for business so have also been to M&M and Yardbird. Yardbird was good but it is a PITA to go to the strip so I like to hit the other places.

Try Honey Salt, a restaurant near Summerlin, Rampart & Charleston on Sunday. It is very good but not like real southern fried chicken from my childhood in Florida where we had a maid who really did it well.

We finally made it to Flock & Fowl to try their Hainanese (poached) Chicken. They also do a fried chicken tender, as a bao, as a three-strip entree, and as a salad. We tried the "Night Market fried chicken bao", the roast chicken and the Hainanese chicken. The chicken tenders were good, better than Cane's as you would hope. I'm not as huge a fan of fried chicken tenders as I am fried chicken pieces, so I wouldn't make a special trip for them, no matter how good they were.

I wasn't blown away by the Hainanese chicken. I actually prefer my own, especially the rice, since I toast mine and then cook it in the broth from the poached chicken. This is the recipe I use:

Hainanese Chicken Rice Recipe | Steamy Kitchen

Their sauces on the side are much better than the ones I can prepare at home.

We'd go back, but would probably not order the Hainanese chicken rice.
