You are good at getting these things wrong...but this exceeds your normal abilities.

Well let's see. Four police officers. Including a couple of rank..

Five or six lawyers. Including a couple that offed themselves.

How many Realtors?

There is one obvious RE Agent though not one who sold property.

So no Police, no lawyers. You go to a Realtor when you need someone you can trust?

What exactly does this have to do with "going broke buying bargains"?

Let me get this straight. A realtor got in trouble for corruption so you should never buy a home because realtors tell you to buy homes and their all corrupt?

It must kill you when you read the threads about people moving to Vegas, people getting jobs, and housing demand on the increase.

It must be painful to live a life with such a negative attitude.

Well, nobody here "knows". I am aware of all the doom and gloom but I see a glimmer of hope for an improvement in the economy. That is all.

Eventusstultorummagister is a realist, and it obviously aggravates all of you pom pom cheerleaders. Thankfully, he is here to inject some truth here instead of the usual propaganda.

There is a reason why interest rates are so low. I suggest research, the answer is there if you look past the election year subterfuge. One thing is for sure, you listen to these sideways talking charlatans and you'll end up eating a soup sandwich.

Using Event's own logic, let's see if he recognizes how today's bad employment numbers are not as bad as they appear. Civilian Labor Force rose by 642,000 which resulted in an uptick on the unemployment rate to 8.2% Event, you and others here have said the numbers are worse than they appear because the labor force has declined. Are you willing to say the opposite now that the labor force has increased?

Looking at the regional numbers, Nevada is actually IMPROVING in both jobs and housing numbers. Go to the 3:00 mark in this video:
May

NV unemployment has now dropped below 12%:
Nevada, Las Vegas Valley unemployment rates lowest since 2009 - Business - ReviewJournal.com

Eliminate the politics, media hype (in both directions) and emotion... and just look at the math.

From your article:

"The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the economy created just 69,000 jobs in May."

"The number of people employed, according to the Household survey, rose by 422,000 in the month."

So, 422,000 more people became employed even though only 69,000 jobs were created. How is this even possible? Maybe someone with more knowledge on the subject can chime in. I am dumbfounded at this.

"In the Clark County market, there were 799,500 employed compared to the 812,300 in January."
812300 - 799500 = 12800 LESS employed

"In Clark County, employment in the construction industry fell from 36,800 in January to 35,100 in February. Manufacturing employment remained steady at 19,600. The number of workers in trade, transportation and utilities dropped from 150,200 in January to 146,900 in February."
36800 - 35100 = 1700 LESS employed
150200 - 146900 = 3300 LESS employed

...not to mention what is occurring with the teachers losing their jobs to offset budget shortfalls!
