As has been stated, Archies is good and sort of sets a benchmark (to me at least), but there are better Thai places here

I kind of agree about the Mexican food being much better in LA, and I think that also applies to most other food here as well (except fine dining). You just have to dig a lot more to find amazing food options here, where in other cities they are far more abundant. Just my 2 cents of course.

Threads/posts I have bookmarked from City Data. Some may not be applicable since I've been doing it for a while. Whoa! Lost the formatting!! I think I got it fixed.

Not all are specific to LV. A few are recipes for Things I Think I'd Like To Eat Or Drink.

You're welcome. Being new to town (then- 3 1/2 years now, but I still refer to them) I decided to hang on to what I found instead of trying to re-find them later.

There are so many Thai restaurants in town but Archis consistency on the quality of food is what brings me back.

Ramen Hashi on Spring Mountain together with Ohjah are my to go places for Ramen together with Kabuki. Never had a bad ramen at those three restaurants. Clean restaurants too including the bathrooms. I check the bathrooms all the time to see the cleanliness. If it is kept clean then I go back to the restaurant.

Dimsum Cafe is good for Chinese food. Busier during lunch compared to dinner time and yes its in Spring Valley on Twain and Hualapai. Dimsum is served for lunch and dinner.

We tried to go there one night, but it was so crowded we gave up. Time to try again.

BTW, the tenderloin sandwiches at Hash House A Go-Go are pathetic. The tenderloin itself was great but the itty-bitty bun and the way it was fixed was a fail.

I'm still looking for a place that serves a good tenderloin sandwich.
