Isn't it odd, he just disappeared off the board?

Maybe now that he met some of us, saw we were REAL NICE people...it's no fun for him anymore

Some of your answers are just so funny, you're making me laugh so early in the morning!

He said he was from New York, and he was online so much, I just assumed he resided at Attica State Prison. Maybe he got paroled.

Do you know, I was just wondering the same thing yesterday Mom.

And Nope, I haven't heard anything from him on this end either.

Ahhh...Dog Day Afternoon. Definitely somewhere in my top twenty favorite movies.

We did make it back home, but ran right into the Easter holidays, and got buried at work while I was gone. If I ain't digging out of snow...then I'll be digging out of work problems for a bit. Sorry for the delay.

I've been meaning to post a recap of our recent trip to LV, which was actually a favorable one. I am happy to report that the state of Las Vegas is quite good. I half expected to find foreclosure signs all over the place and construction at a standstill...but found neither.

We arrived late Saturday (3/15) at McCarran after an uneventful (but long) flight. As we flew over Lake Mead, I couldn't help but get the feeling of a crusting around the complete shore. One could tell that the water level was quite low...even from the 7,000 foot view...and new "islands" had popped out of the sinking waters. At the DDO, MomMom, Olecapt & Guinessjim explained that politics were the culprit here and they (Colorado River Authority?) really need to stop hogging the water and release more upstream.

The new offsite car rental center is great...fast, organized and easy! One shuttle bus (as opposed to each car rental company running their own), picks up full busloads of people and shuttles them off to the center...where ALL rental companies are based. The rental center is located with easy return access right over by the airport on Gilespie St. We checked in via the kiosk, picked out our convertible and were on our way within 15 minutes, literally! The building is brand new and nicely designed for people flow...A+ marks all around.

Checked into The Orleans on Saturday evening...hungry and exhausted. We ate the Mexican restaurant in The Orleans (Don Miguel's). The fajitas were very good and nicely portioned...we split one order of the chicken/beef combo, each had two fajitas, and still had some left. Even tho' we finished dinner at 9:30 pm...our bodies were on NY time...to us, it was after midnight, so we called it a night.

to be continued...
