Hello everyone, in a few weeks my wife and I are going to the USA. The project is that to stay a week in West Coast of Florida, Saint Petersburg, Naples, Sarasota, Fort Meyers ( places that we know already ), and then we would like to go 3 or 4 days to Las Vegas. We have never been in Las Vegas and so we would like to have some informations on what to visit in a few days.

Thanks

The Strip of course...I recommend lunch at Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris. if a nice day go for the patio...has a separate reservation process...ask at the desk.

Pick up any of the tourist guides and hit what appeals.

See a show. I recommend Mystere or O. for a first time.

Hit Downtown The Experience is worth an evening.

Hit a nightclub.

Over the years our guests favorite thing was the sunset helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon. Expensive though over $500 a head.

Consider some of the standard things...
Pinball Museum
Mob Museum
Neon Museum
Atomic Test Museum
The Spring Preserve

Do not get too carried away though. You can easily blow two weeks in Las Vegas.

Send the wife and kids to circus circus and go and play some high stakes black jack at the Wynn. You're here to gamble right?

You will want to do the "tourist" stuff....plan on at least 4 days...get a guidebook, too...you can see which things will interest you the most!
Fremont Street is worth an evening trip.
Bellagio Fountains.
Wandering thru the different hotels...some are pretty impressive!
If you can swing a trip to the desert areas outside of the Strip, that's fun, too.

TONS to do in Vegas!

600 East Charleston. The Haunted Museum. Well worth the forty something dollars.

I too recommend the Valley of Fire and maybe drive over to Death Valley.

Michael Jackson at Mandalay Bay.

For a first time visitor here for 3 or 4 days it isn't practical to go way out to Valley of Fire or Death Valley, especially for someone from the U.K. that may not have driven here (on the right) before.

Skip the driving and do the touristy stuff. Wander the Strip, go to Freemont Street, see a show, go to a buffet, do the things Las Vegas is famous for. And by all means, gamble a little. Beginners luck is real!

Look up when you enter. Some have amazing art on the entryway ceilings!
