How much you pay for car insurance, Commercial RE insurance, and health insurance in the Las Vegas Valley?

Yeh, I am thinking about moving of course. I have heard many good things about LV

Cheapest insurance rates how does it compare against NYC, or LA or other major metro areas?

What about RE taxes? I hear a lot of Hawaiians who are priced off the islands move to LV. Why LV? I also hear lots of SoCal residents move to LV.

Compared to the Chicago area car insurance is a higher but homeowner's is much lower. We save about $400 a year out here between those two. Same company there and here.

Health insurance is through my wife's RN job at Dignity Healthcare (Dominican St. Rose) . We have a PPO here vs. HMO there at it's a little less, but coverage is not quite as good.

RE taxes (and no state income tax) is where we really save a lot. Our house here is valued at $50K to $75K higher than our old house and our RE tax is less than 1/4 of what it used to be.

Does Nevada not have some taxes most other states do like state income tax? And do you drive a high end car?

No state income tax in Nevada and no toll roads. We do have higher fees for you license tags every year and a yearly smog test ($25 or so) is required.

We have three cars. A 2010 Lexus RX350, my daily driver, and my 2015 Camaro, which is a car show garage queen, and my wife's 2011 Camry. Not super high-end, but they're all low-mileage and in nice shape. All are paid off. License tags for all three run about $800/year.

Moved from VA to LV, my car insurance was 6x more in Las Vegas. I shopped around alot and kept getting the same excuse, more than 50% of drivers out here don't have insurance.

Didn't have a house back in Va, so can't help you there.

Registration is more out here too, but as mention, there are no toll roads, so registration is the only form of $ for road repair. VA had Tolls on the Highway, and the roads were much better back there.

I have 2 cars which I just payed $537 for 6 months of 100/300 coverage and 500 deductible through Geico Insurance. Just sold a 2016 Lexus ES350 that cost $740 per year for registration fees. I now have a 2014 Toyota RAV4 and 2018 Hyundai Elantra. They cost about $700 per year for registration fees.

Why is car insurance in LV so high? Is it because many drivers without insurance? Why so many? In NYC, I pay about $600 for 6 months insurance. How does that compare to LV?

How much do you pay for RE insurance? What about Health Insurance?

And is there anywhere to get official numbers, or do you just go on the companies website and get a quote?

The accident rates are higher here because of tourists who are not familiar with the city. The higher accident rates also contributes to higher insurance rates.

You really need to get an online quote or just call an insurance agent and talk to someone. There are just too many variables and different types of coverage, and everybody's situation is different.
