I just moved here a few months ago. I'm in Henderson and should have done my due diligence in researching this place. First of all, I learned how to drive in NYC and Henderson is the Highway to Hell. They have the highest fatality rate for drivers in the country. Everybody...I mean everybody is stoned 24/7. 8 out of 10 cars have been involved in a crash because their cars are all dented up. I wonder how anyone can survive this. I wonder who would want to. I feel for people with children who may lose their lives as a result of being on the road with the fifth worst drivers in the nation. Pillbillies, alcoholics, drug induced drivers. Not to mention the ones who are driving in teams to commit insurance fraud. Get a dash cam so you can record these idiots. I'm submitting to Utube so the world can see. I'll be leaving here soon after only a few months before something happens in Vegas. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas....they're talking about ending up in a funeral home. I don't even see police anywhere. In months..I have never seen a police officer or a police vehicle. Where I come from, this would be cop's heaven. DUI's and idiots would certainly help a cop make quota over here. No doubt. It's sad. I'll post real time jerks on Utube so everyone can see what I'm talking about. This is no exaggeration. If you value your life...move somewhere else.

Sorry but that is all false. Henderson auto fatality rate is generally 1/2 or 2/3 of that of NV. NV is rather average in the US. So Henderson is actually reasonably safe with respect to auto fatalities .

You will also find that Henderson auto accident rate is relatively low.

These are relatively easily available statistics. Look them up.

Default Highway to Hell

When I post the Utube video...everyone can see. I think most of these people are from Montana, Idaho and Wyoming. These people have never driven in any city, they're used to driving on dirt roads. There are a bunch of hillibillies out here. They want everyone to think this is a city but this is really a backwater. Bottom line, everybody out here is from some hick town, who come out here to give up on life like that guy in Leaving Las Vegas. Don't believe anything you hear about this place. I've been all over the world...trust me this place sucks. This is Pocatello, Idaho with traffic and casinos.

LOL. Don't forget the roving bands of teenaged homeless living in drainage ditches on casino property in the shadow of million dollar homes beating up senior citizens in local parks while injecting H refined from secret poppy fields maintained by the government. My goodness, I cannot even walk to my favorite coffee shop without an unleashed Rottweiler attacking me as I dodge drunk drivers jumping the curb. I had to sell my car because my insurance company went bankrupt paying auto claims in Henderson. Police? We have HOA board members armed with pitchforks lining the wall to beat back the scourge coming over the wall to rob and assault our landscaping. When the Raiders come, the whole town is going to erupt in apocalyptic chaos. Have a great day. Heading to the basement as soon as my mom finishes my laundry and makes my breakfast.

I'm not in Henderson, but I moved to the NW valley a little over a year ago. Statistically, it may be possible to cite Las Vegas as average for traffic accidents, but what I observe every day makes me feel quite the opposite. I've lived in a lot of places and have never seen the daily carnage that's reported on the local news every morning. The number of incidents ranging from fender benders to fatalities is shocking to someone who hasn't been born and raised here and may be desensitized to them. I had subscribed to a Facebook page where people report on public safety incidents, but it was completely blowing up my newsfeed every day with constant alerts so I unfollowed it to save my sanity...also the moderator was a complete A-hole.

I heard there were gangs of stoned clowns terrorizing Henderson (they aren't the Insane Clown Posse, these guys are hillbillies from the upper midwest who were laid off from the circus).

They are high out of their mind on crack and weed, 247, driving around crashing into people, causing fatalities and littering the streets of Henderson with dead bodies and corpses everywhere you look.

This is becoming a serious issue that someone should address - I look forward to the DinoTube... er Utube videos documenting such sinister activities.
