Per Vital Vegas and multiple sources, MGM Buffet has reopened.
We now have a few strip options with buffets for the upcoming week:
Southpoint, Cosmo's Wicked Spoon, Caesar's Bucchanal, and MGM.
Hope more reopen as well. I would love to revisit Red Rock...crossing my
fingers it actually reopens.

I just do not understand why anyone voluntarily would eat at a buffet. Most everyone at buffets attempt to eat many thousands of calories and go into a food coma.

Wife and I used to treat ourselves to Bacchanal at Caesars, twice per year, prior to the pandemic.

When you eat there, notice the fast pace of the music they play in the background -- designed to get you in a hurry to eat, get full and then get out and let the next set of pigs enter and be seated.

Rinse and repeat!

It's sort of like I just do not understand why anyone voluntarily replies to a thread with negativity when it's not called for. What do you care what they do? Obviously people enjoy them and pay a lot of money it. Good for them! It's not my thing but I certainly don't care if other people enjoy it. Great. They are happy. Yay!

Buffets continue to get less popular each year, actually, that once peaked during the late-1990s. I think buffet is going to be extinct by 2030.

Lol, that's exactly what you did on my thread last month. Oh wait, those actions only apply when it isn't you saying them, right Joe?

I heard GVR will not reopen their buffet. The space is earmarked to become a new high limit lounge. They are reconfiguring the pits and have some construction planned, which is already underway. Of course it's unconfirmed information, but my source has always been reliable.

That's a shame. It was a good buffet.

Exactly. I am aware enough to realize that possibility but in this case I am more defending the buffet lovers than just being a negative nellie keyboard warrior. I don't recall your thread so can't comment on that. I don't keep track of such things but glad to know I made such an impression on you that you do keep track. I guess I am saying memorable things! Thanks!
