I periodically check the weather and was shocked to see it already so hot!

Are you all ready for this so soon? Doesn't usually start this soon does it?

As far as us in MI goes it is barely 60, so we are unseasonably chilly still. Should be closer to the 70's. They are saying it will be high 70's for Memorial Day weekend. I am tired of being cold.

But for you all--stay cool!

I'm about to go into the pool. On Saturday we finally turned our air on.

Yup - The air is on.

Temp is 104 at the moment...but note that the humidity is 7%. Stand in the shade and wait a couple of minutes and it is not at all bad.

In July however it won't be 7%...much less pleasant.

This is unusual. Record territory. Will cool 15 to 20 degrees in a couple of days.

Ive had my a/c on since it hit 90 for the high. My computer is upstairs and it's always hot up here once it's 85 or so outside. Even with the fans on.
Went shopping yesterday afternoon and it felt like an oven each time we left a store. Thursdays temp is supposed to be near 80 so that will feel a lot better even with the higher humidity for the thunderstorms coming our way.

Temperature hit 110 today at about 3:30.

All in all, it hasn't been too bad of a day though. I already did the whole pool thing for awhile.

One unit or two? Either way you might check your filters...make sure they are fresh and then take a hose to the outside units. Blow all the gunk out of the heat exchanger...the thing that looks like a radiator. A high pressure water stream is the way to do that.
Not a pressure washer though..just the hose.

Here in Hawaii we have been hitting around 90 degrees, but with 70% humidity. I can't wait to trade up 20 degrees to lose the hot sauna effect!

I am still waiting to be able to keep my windows open. I can for a little while during the middle of the day but then it starts getting cold.
