HELLO!
I'm making a return visit to Vegas in late May and I wanted to know what they weather is like. I visited for the 1st time last Feb. and the weather was cool. It is my understanding that the summer time is extremely hot. What should I expect if I come around memorial day weekend. Thanks

just moved here now, but was here for a bachelor party memorial weekend of 05, I remember it being very hot probably around 90s,, from things I read it is cool from Novemberish-March then it starts to heat up

It's going to be very warm, agree with the above poster - probably in the 90's. It really starts warming in March and doesn't let up until around October/November... just as VegasNV said...

My wife and I consider it pleasantly warm in May. It is hot in June. Begins to hit 100 in the second half of the month.

The days start of in the high 60s and get to 90 around noon.

It is however dry. Note that 100 here is the equivalent of perhaps 90 in an eastern city. Coming out of the pool at 100 you are freezing in a couple of minutes. Once dry of course you heat up again.

Do your exploring before 1PM and stay poolside or inside in the late afternoons.

If you do go outside for any length of time, you might want to carry water with you at all times. People can get dehydated real quick without being aware of it until it’s too late. It’s very dry here compared to other parts of the country. It’s not unusual for people to be strollling around outdoors and not visibly sweat even in 100 degree temperatures but they are losing water very fast without being aware of it.

Another thing to carry with you a lot in the heat of Vegas is chapstick! My husand and I got addicted to chapstick living there. Your lips feel dry all the time!

Thanks Everyone!! I'm Visiting From Atlanta, Ga And I Had A Feeling It Would Be Very Hot. My Trip Was Originally Planned For This Weekend, But We Had To Postpone It. I'll Definitely Keep This In Mind.
