I feel so sorry for these workers in these department stores who must listen to that Christmas music for 5-6 weeks. I went to Wal-Mart last night, and stocked up, so I don't have to return there until after Christmas.
Gift shopping? Never! I only give $ for gifts! Let them do the shopping as I detest shopping!
When I shop, I binge shop, and only at Savers or other thrift stores. Never anything new. 7 years ago I needed shoes, so, I went to Savers and bought 10 pairs of named-brand shoes and sandals, lots of pants, shirts, underwear, and even socks, so I don't have to shop for another 7+ years!
If you met me on the street, somewhere, you'd probably compliment me on what I'm wearing, not knowing I never buy anything new! I've got other priorites with my hard-earned $. Traveling? Now there I'll spend $ like a drunken sailor!

You are much too young to lose your father, just as I was.
As most of you know, I have no family, but I will not have to spend Thanksgiving alone this year. My next door neighbor invited me over for dinner. I can't cook, nor have the pots and pans, but he is going to make a full course thanksgiving dinner. God Bless him. He has been turning out to be a good friend.
