Not everybody is photogenic though. I've met some truly gorgeous people that just didn't photograph well. Probably because they were uncomfortable like you and me. I've met others that look great in photos and then when you see them in person, you are underwhelmed.
Funny you saying that NLVgal, my wife Judy is like that. Very uncomfortable being photographed! I'm totally relaxed with a camera. If you look on my file, there I am..... the grinning fool. I think it's more a woman thing. Especially as they get older. I follow my old dad's advice. "You can't do anything about it, (getting older) so no point worrying about it.

I like that pic, Dave. Funny though, I had pictured you in my head with sandy colored hair (often referred to as ash or dirty blonde)

I just find the idea of a "bucket list" silly, and the term is silly too. I just live my life day-to-day, I don't spend time daydreaming about stuff I want to do before I die. Stuff I will never do is a waste of time to think about.

JMO. Better add that
That surprises me as you seem like an organized person (and that is great to be organized without lists!) and after reading about how you liked to do your yard sale, I totally would have pegged you as a list person!

This is me too. Other people might say, "great picture!", I do not see that at all. We can be our worst critics! I go to Walmart and look around and think, "how do these people just go out the door like this? Don't they own a mirror? Don't they care?". Then I think it is just one less thing they have to worry about! I can't do it, I may not always look like a million bucks, but somewhat together.

I LOVE Fresh and Easy. I will be so disappointed to see it leave. It is convenient and I only shop their sales. Their meat is better than Smith's, IMO, and so are their prices on the sales stuff. I never did understand Albertson's. I have gone there a few times, store is basically void of customers and their prices are ridiculously higher than Smith's. As far as aesthetics, it is nice, but the Smith's here on Durango is nice too. I have only been to Vons and Food4less once or twice. Went to WinCo once. I have never shopped at TJs, only went there once and that is because my niece was here and she works there in MI and wanted to check out the layout. I would need more time to explore there. If F&E has to go, I would hope for a TJs too!

I don't understand why people wear what they wear to Walmart either. It's like there is a secret game of who can wear the worst outfit there.

If you're ever feeling low and need a self esteem boost visit your neighborhood Wally World; it'll make you feel like a super model.

At least her flip flops match the yellow Spongebob outfit.

I sometimes run to the store with my hair in a bun or ponytail and no makeup, but I wear respectable clothing and big sunglasses so that if I run into someone I know, I wont be completely mortified.

I am quite organized. I keep lists in my head, though. Never make lists, never write down appointments, etc.

For example, if I have an appointment, I "see" a calendar in my mind, and mark it down there. Then I can "look at" the calendar any time I need to and see the important dates "written" there. I create lists the same way, just visualize them in my head.

Now at my yard sale, YES, I did write down my sales, but that is a bookkeeping thing, not a list making thing

I used to be able to do that until 4 kids and all their *junk* immobilized my otherwise organized brain! That was when I really needed to list things on the calendar, now I guess my aging brain is just mush!
