I had my son at Sunrise many years ago. No problems. My niece was born very premature ( only weighed 1.5 pounds) at UMC and received excellent care. She's 13 now.

My daughter was delivered at Centennial Hills; her mom received a C-Section; pre and post birth care were top notch.

She was a healthy baby girl. The hospital even gave us a nice steak dinner and mom received a post-birth massage.

I think this is a ridiculous question..... People have babies around the world in war torn regions, starving and overcrowded countries and remote Islands.... So if they can have babies in those conditions, why in the heck would you think that it is bad to have a baby in Las Vegas??????

We had or youngest back in 04 and all was well, although I do have to say Mountainview hospital was a filthy dump. Maybe they have improved over the years but I've had no reason to go back in there.

Yes the original post is kind of strange, we've been raising both of our kids here with good luck and they love it here.

Indeed.

I have about 30+ in-laws that were born in LV.

My wife and I had our son at Spring Valley Hospital. Everything went well.

Weird question.

My son was born in Sunrise hospital 1997, we had positive experience back then, some errors in the billing which they took care of it.

Son grew up in Vegas, Green Valley, no issues what so ever, it depends on the family and good up bringing, I think Vegas is just fine.

My nephew was born in Mountain View Hospital on Tenaya, nice hospital then and now, also a new wing of the hospital opened not long ago. My mother received decent care there as well.
