I really would rather not use a service. If anyone knows of an honest, independant, and at least somewhat skilled handyman who needs to make some money please let me know. I need the following items replaced in the next couple days....

replace shower head.

replace two minor areas of outdoor trim and patch stucco in those areas

cut & install basebords in small bedroom.

Install two interior door knobs

Possibly fix door jam one exterior door and replace on piece of trim.

Hang mini blinds

Probably a couple other minor things as I find them as well.

Thanks.

Those sound like easy projects that any do-it-yourself-er could do, but my experience with so called handy men haven't been good. Get more than one reference before using any of the groups that advertise as handymen. I can't remember the names, but I tried two that were pretty bad. One is "Christian" group is all I remember. I've had much better luck with professional plumbers, electricians, etc., but even about 10% of them have idiots working for them.

You should post this request over at the Pass it on site. passitonlv2 : KeepPassingItOnLV
There are a few members in there that do handyman work and are ok people.
You might give them a few days to respond though. There is also a link on the site for Las Vegas Treasures. Both sites need more activity.
You can give things away, request things, sell things, barter, etc. When you sign up to join, mention you heard about it from City Data. And you should get approved asap.
