I'm thinking this is First Friday coming up. Does anyone go and is it fun?

One question, where's a good place to park?

I'm thinking of going to the Spike for the $4.99 prime rib, then going to check out the art scene.

i went to October's, and i enjoyed it. there are quite a few stores that have art, but there are also people with stands on the street. if you like art, I really felt like there was something for everyone- photography, oils, graffiti, charcoal. in many ways it felt like a small festival (quite a few vendors selling food, beer, snacks).

as far as where to park, i'm not sure what to tell you. i parked in a free parking lot where my friend was showing her art.

I went in, I think it was August. It was a lot of fun, interesting, entertaining and was something different to do. I like how it is supportive of the locals. We just went up and down the streets until we found a spot. Had to walk a bit, not far...but hey...you won't be in snow, so it should be all good!

Thanks! It does sound like fun and with the trolley option from the El Cortez, dinner at the Spike is even logical.

We've been to several of them. It's fun and it varies a little every time. Different entertainment, different art, etc. Just drive around until you find a spot, or you can valet park behind The Art's Factory which is on Main & Charleston. We usually end up right on Main Street parked at the curb. Casa Don Juan is a good place to eat on First Friday. Casa Don Juan

Casa Don Juan looks good. I've driven by quite a few times and though it looked like a possibility. Now I'll try it for sure. Thank you.
