Probably many of you have heard that a metro off duty police officer was killed at his home by three punks!
What a sad way to go and how stupid can these kids be. I hope they never get to see the light of day!
A memorial has been set up outside his home on Emerald Stone St. between Lone Mnt and Washburn at Dona in North Las Vegas. That's near the Cannery casino for those that don't know. Also, an account has been set up at local banks under the name "fallen officer" or something similar to help out his family.....

Yep, another 30 year old Metro officer's life was cut short. I saw this on the news too. The guy had two kids. What a way to have to spend the holidays.

Wife, children, mother (in town for Thanksgiving!!!) all in the home when it happened. Sad.

These (all) thugs are such worthless cowards. Can't even come at you man-to-man, fist-to-fist. Really easy to walk around like a tough guy when you only attack people 3-on-1 AND with a weapon.
But when they're caught, separated from their crew, separated from their weapon? That menacing look is instantly replaced with tears. That's a punk and a coward in my book.
I wish only the most horrible things upon them in prison.

What is really sad is they could care less as they are sociopaths. They don't care that they just took a father away from his two kids and wife. I lost my father at 24 years old of a heart attack, and that was bad enough. I cannot even imagine the grief this family is, and is going to go through. These two thugs bring new meaning to "a piece of human garbage."

Latest news is that they are all documented gang members. All three will be charged with murder.. the youngest one as an adult

May he rest in peace, and God Bless his family. He honorably served America as a Marine and Las Vegas as a police officer.

Don't be afraid to profile, report suspicious or out of place people to police.

The DA needs to prosecute to the fullest.
