If you had the options... what would you do? Option 1 - Reinstate real estate license at a cost of about 300. and a whole bunch of classes.
Option 2 - Go to dealer school and learn to deal so you can get a job (even at a locals casino.. according to the websites, they are hiring)
Option 3 - Go to bartending school to get a job at one of the locals casinos because everybody drinks!

Short story but i am sure its the same as everybody else.... Tons of resumes out, Several interviews, no bites.. so in the interim, i'd like something to do....

1. Way to many agents in Vegas to compete with.
2. You will only be working part time for awhile. It will be good money once gaming rebounds.
3. Just go join the Culinary /Bartender union and get a job as a barback. Take the test in two years and become a bartender.

**Disclaimer** - I'm not familiar with LV. Just browsing!

Go for option 2. Get into a casino (any halfway decent place), let them know you want to learn all the games. Worst case, you're looking at 13 or 14/hr and it only gets better. I personally wouldn't want this as a career but I've always made enough part-time to survive. If you have all major games, you'll never be without a job. You'll have options... either a great part-time job to further your education in another field or a decent paying full-time job if you decide you like it.

Maybe it's not the $60 per hour that's scaring them away!
