my father and i go out eating at least once a week.
since i moved here we go to the hilton(close where i live).no complaints, but i think eating the same thing...

most we pay is $5 each,if we pay at all (not including tip).
5 bucks is a good price to eat i think.

what do recommended for a buffet with a good price.good salad bar a plus.

Please clarify your post. The last buffet I went to was over $20. You also say the most you pay is $5, if you pay at all. Do you sneak in or something?

Seriously, are you eating out of trashcans or are you sneaking in? 5 Bucks?!?!? Or is it 5 dollars just to get in to sit down and then at that point they charge you to eat?

well,if you were to just walk in the hilton buffet,i'll cost you something like 13-18 dollars each.if your a local, with a players card, monday, wednesday, and sunday there is a discount, even if you don't gamble.
if you do gamble there, you get dollars on your card that you can use towards the buffet and they give more of a discount if you use them.

today we went out and only paid a $5 tip.the cost for both of us was $6,since we have what they call points on our cards.
TOTAL CASH COST EACH:$2.50
again,not too bad.

there are points that determine witch card you can get, then there are dollars that are added to your card.employees call the dollars points even their not.
not sure on the calculation, putting one to two hundred in a machine you may get $3.
the money that you have on your card, you can get in cash if it's over 10 bucks.
...and NP

all the joints have things like that to varying degrees.....and it helps convince the sucker that he didn't really drop 5 grand....

"I went to Vegas last week-end....lost 5k BUT I got comped for a $2.95 breakfast"

This is funny. Really though spend $7 or so for the Orleans or Palms breakfast buffet and you'll be happy. But then again you'll feel guilty if you don't tip so it will cost closer to $10. But using points is funny. A friend of mine hits the EV+ poker machines and says with the stingy points they give you on those machines it takes him about 10 hours of play just to get a food comp, but at least he's not paying $50 in expected loss for it as you would on most of the tight machines.

Here's a clue. Don't gamble and spend the $300 on food. Then you can eat out in a nice place every night. You could probably afford a car to get there too.
