Glad to see you've come to your senses. See how you feel after you visit...and if you like it, start lining up your cards for a move. At your age, you can afford a 5-year plan to get your life in order before moving. Besides, 5 years should show any ligering toll that may exist on LV.

Hope you don't rule it out permanently . Longer term plans have a way of sometimes working out better.

Good luck man

You sound like an intelligent young man. Go with your "gut". If it doesn't feel right, don't do it. Please be wary of strangers dangling hopes of interviews. Not saying that the person who did is a weirdo but you need to be very careful. Best wishes to you and have fun on your visit. I do agree with LVD that Las Vegas is more fun when you are 21 or older.

Hmmm, there's a switch...someone actually moving back before they move there! Cool.

I agree with airics, you will love it after you visit. I did and it took almost 10 years and multiple visits to get out there and even now, I am only part-time...but soon to be full time and looking forward to it, Lord willing!

I always love your posts kimba. You always have something positive to say or so it se ems kudos I dont think anybody knows how determined oi am to move and achieve my goal of moving later this year. And i can be very headstrong when it comes to goals I set for myself. Chances are i will love it and I probably
wont wanna leave. I wanna do this so badly. this thread was started when I had a bad case of valentines day blues and a bottle of my dads whiskey. So I probably dont mean what I said when I started this thread

You can't make it in a place if you have all that negative self-talk in your mind anyways. Get calm and centered and think about why you really want to move anywhere. I mean there are an awful lot of places between Orlando and Vegas you could also consider, what exactly is it about Vegas?

At your age I'd say the best thing you could do if you did move to another area is enroll in the community college for even just one class, get a job with a good social atmosphere, and then dive in. Now you could do that here or in Texas or wherever. But you aren't going to succeed at life at home or away from home with the negativity you brought in the OP.
