I saw Satana and KC and the Sunshine band back in the 70's in Portland. They didn't even say Carlos back then. It was just Santana.

The prices ARE ripoffs.

At the Improv at Harrahs, you pay $30....3x what it costs in LA I believe.

But at least you get to see 3 comedians and usually they are all pretty good. Sometimes even a reasonably big name.

I guess you will miss him...Don Rickles is at the Orleans on June 5th and 6th. I saw him about 2 years ago...I took a couple friends. He was very very funny. Outstanding really. We are all in our mid 30's, and no problem connecting and getting all the humor. He is very expensive..$60-80, but in my opinion well worth it. I'm glad I got to see a comedy legend and that he was still close to top form.

I saw the comedy show at the Riviera two nights ago. It was really, really funny.

To save some money on tickets, try Tix 4 Tonight

Mack King is an afternoon comedy/magic show. He is primarily a magician, but puts on a pretty funny show. A bargain for the price of a drink. Forgot where he was, but somebody on this forum will know. Harrah's

Default Comedy Shows...Great Info.

Thanks for the info. I had suggested originally Comedy as it might be less expensive. My hubby and I do not get out much so we will be lucky to be awake after 10:00pm...HA, I know it's Vegas. $40 is an Ok price range. I guess the days of bouncing around from club to club getting in for $10 and a drink are gone...we are over 50 so remember back when. With my corporate discounts maybe we can go to some of your suggested showing and stay within my budget. Maybe dinner at Mickey Dees...just joking.

That would have been outrageous in 1972! I saw Creedence at the pinnacle of their career back then for $5 advance ($6 at the door but it was sold out)

The 4 Queens had a good comedy club when I was last there and it was not too pricey. We are planning to see Terry Fator this time and he is a bit more pricey but everybody I have talked to says it is worth it.

Don't forget that, if you are on eastern time, you will suffer "Vegas adjustment" the first night or 2 you are there because the time is 3 hours earlier there. You will feel like going to bed at 7PM and wake up at 4AM. The best cure for it is to find the most lively show or club you can find on the first night that last until at least 10PM Pacific Time. And leave your watch in the hotel room. It works for me and allows me to adjust my body to Vegas time.
